I don't know if this is possible, but how would you turn a midi file (like from the internet) into NWC format? I wouldn't publish them, I just enjoy experimenting with the scores of some of my favorite pieces.
If this has already been asked, I'm sorry. I checked the forum, but I wasn't entirely sure what I was looking for. Thank you for your help!

For questions of this type, you could check the program itself before checking the forum! Open File gives you the option of selecting a file type...

Yep, NWC can open a MIDI, show the notes, change key or tempo, let you make modifications, etc. But keep in mind that since MIDI is not sheet music, the notation often won't look identical to what you would see if you bought published sheet music.
If the MIDI is heavily synth (lots of "bent" notes, non-standard instruments, etc.) then music notation may not be helpful, in any case.
Download the NWC demo and check it out.

Thanks for the help. Like I said, I'm a total newbie with this subject. I didn't even know what I was looking for, exactly.

Anyway, it works very well. I got three Midi files from the Internet yesterday, and imported them in Noteworthy. All choir stuff: SATB. One of them was in a wrong key (nothing a Transpose cannot fix) and always, the tenor staff looks strange. So I change the tenor staff as follows:
- Clef properties: Octave Down
- All the notes go up (higlight the whole staff, and press Ctrl-Shift-Up seven times)
